Russia’s Tatspirtprom ro launch $2 mln alcohol plant in Azerbaijan
MOSCOW, Oct 18 (PRIME) -- Tatspirtprom, one of Russia’s largest alcohol producers, and Azerbaijani company Carchioglu Group plan to launch a U.S. $2 million alcohol plant RusAzeriSpirits in Azerbaijan on Saturday, a spokesperson for Tatspirtprom told PRIME on Friday.
Besides the brands of Tatspirtprom, the plant will bottle other trademark alcohol products of Russian and foreign companies. The company will also engage in the sales of its products in Azerbaijan. “Investment of the two partners amounted to about $2 million. Investment in the project will grow if production capacity rises,” the spokesperson said.
The minimal annual production capacity of the plant stands at 193,600 decaliters with a possibility of raising it to 400,000 decaliters. The plant will produce 1,500 decaliters of Tatspirtprom’s spirits per month initially, and will double output after the assortment of products expands, the person added.
